"If i could give 0 stars i would. The most incompetent transaction i have ever had with State Farm. I called to switch insurance and then within 3 hours called back to cancel everything - i was told i couldn’t do that - which i know to be a lie because the policies hadn’t even been finished issuance and completed underwriting. Not only that - they billed my mortgage company 3 days later for the payment to come out of escrow, knowing that i did not intend on using them as a carrier they did it anyway. Leaving me with a shortage that i now have to wait for a refund for, and then deposit back into the account. Not customer friendly at all. Buyer beware these people will then try and guilt you into staying with them by saying things like “don’t you want a agent who has your best interest at heart” and “don’t you want to speak to Someone instead of a 800 number”. And then proceeds to insult my intelligence by asking me if i compromised on coverage to get a better rate with my current company. No i really just wanted to cancel and apparently that was too hard. I guess they think if they make it extremely difficult you will just suffer the consequences and they will get to keep your business anyway."
